We had a great time at The Bulls Head. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, they even helped us with our bags! Food was amazing, especially the fish and chips, the best I’ve had in a while. Breakfast was really good too, I loved the full English. The room was clean and comfy, felt right at home.
Only some noise from the bar late at night.

Breakfast was a standout with a full English that hit the spot. The cozy vibe of the bar with a lovely log fire made for a delightful evening. The fish and chips were top-notch, believe me! Total comfort with all the friendly staff around.
Now, the car park situation wasn’t ideal, right on the main road and dodging lorries making deliveries was a bit of a hassle. But honestly, it was a minor snag in an otherwise fab stay.

Cozy atmosphere and amazing food
I had a fantastic stay, enjoying the cozy log fire in the pub that made for a warm and inviting atmosphere. The fish and chips were hands-down the best I’ve had in ages, and I can’t forget about the hearty full English breakfast that was cooked to order. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcomed. One minor downside was the difficulty accessing the rooms due to the stairs, which might be challenging for some guests.

The beds were exceptionally comfortable providing a restful nights sleep. The staff were not only welcoming but also proactive in assisting with our requests.

We had a lovely stay, especially with our 4-year-old. The staff went above and beyond, even closing curtains to keep the room cool. Breakfast was fantastic, and the locals were welcoming. It felt like a perfect stopover for our journey to Scotland.
My wife says that the seating area could be more family-friendly.
